Dwarf comfrey has shallow spreading roots, and lush leaves which can be slashed down as a mulch.
Makes an excellent liquid fertiliser or addition to compost. An evergreen herbaceous perennial, which spreads by runners. It is pretty easy to remove the stablished plant, and it does not spread by seed.
Pretty Cream bell shaped flowers loved by bees early in spring.
0.3m high (smaller and less vigorous than the mauve flowered dwarf comfrey).
Plant in the orchard, no closer than 0.4 from tree trunks.

Trees and plants can be delivered to your door (rates will be calculated at checkout based on the number of plants you purchase) or you can pick up for no fee - in which case we will email when ready to pick up and you will have 7 days to do so.
