Bold flavour and stripes on this late-season beauty.
A medium-sized, lopsided, round-conical golden fruit, with bold, broken red stripes.
Pale yellow flesh, firm and juicy, with an aromatic, intense, rich flavour. Very high in vitamin C, keeps well.
Medium-vigour tree, heavy cropper.
Does well in areas with hot or cool summers.

USES: Dessert, Cooking, Cider
RIPENING TIME: Late
POLLINATION GROUP: C Triploid
ORIGIN: Grown in 1708 from one of three apple pips sent from Normandy to Sir Henry Goodricke of Ribston Hall at Little Ribston, Yorkshire; the original trunk did not die until 1835. It then sent up a new shoot and, on the same root, lived until 1928.

We pack and send out BOOKS & WALL CHARTS Tuesday and Fridays.

TREES & PLANTS are packed bare-root either the first week of July, August or September. Orders are taken for these year round. See our nursery info page for details.
Trees and plants can be delivered to your door (rates will be calculated at checkout based on the number of plants you purchase) or you can pick up for no fee - in which case we will email when ready to pick up and you will have 7 days to do so.
