A large, luscious, juicy, sweet, and rich-flavoured plum.
Has yellow/red skin flushed purple and yellow flesh.
Vigorous tree, with an upright growth habit, late flowering healthy and hardy. Low chill requirements. A great pollinator of other Japanese plums.
Grafted onto Myrobalan rootstock, which tolerates heavy soils. Grows to 3-4m high and 4-5m wide.

ORIGIN: Developed by the extraordinary horticulturist Luther Burbank in 1906 in Santa Rosa, California. Santa Rosa plum tree is considered one of the best of Luther Burbank's creations.
